This will shock you!

I just saw Drew Canole walking out of a fast food joint with a greasy burger and fries. The advocate of health is eating junk food. He doesn’t even know I am writing this post, but I can’t just sit here and hide the truth. It just feels so wrong… to pull this prank on you!

Gotcha. April Fool’s.

Of course I didn’t see Drew gorging on junk food (I can’t even imagine that). He is way too dedicated to help you achieve health and happiness through example, inspiration, practical tips and actionable steps. I hope you had a good laugh though, after all, it’s April Fool’s Day and laughter is awesome for your health and well-being.

The celebration of April Fool’s Day dates back to 1392 with the Canterbury Tales. Clearly, the day of laughter has a long history and has exploded in our modern times with tweets, blogs and social media posts filling up the internet. Don’t take any jokes seriously today, but laugh along with everyone else.

Laughter does magic to your health. It is stronger than Prozac and works instantly to uplift your mood. By reducing stress, laughing can also reduce inflammation and pain in your body. A good laugh fills your body with more oxygen and helps to reduce your blood pressure.

A good laugh can:

  • Improve your mood
  • Connect you with people

Clearly, a good laugh is powerful for a healthy mind, body and soul.
