Protein-Packed Organifi Cilantro Hummus

Chickpeas are an excellent source of vegan protein! In fact, just one cup of cooked chickpeas contains 15 grams of protein. Along with protein you also get fiber, manganese, folate and other vitamins and minerals.

We decided to really jazz up our hummus recipe by adding detoxifying cilantro, alkalizing lemon juice and antioxidant rich Organifi Green Juice. This hummus is really the perfect go-to snack when you are trying to live well and cut back on processed, sugary snacks.

Just grab some sliced veggies or gluten-free chips and whip up some of this goodness!

Organifi Cilantro Hummus

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup chickpeas
  • ¼ cup diced onion
  • 1 handful fresh cilantro, thinly diced
  • 1 scoop Organifi Green Juice
  • Juice from 1 lemon or lime
  • Sea salt and pepper

Instructions:

1. In a large bowl, add the chickpeas, onion, Organifi Green Juice and lemon/lime juice.
2. Mash together with a fork or put through a food processor.
3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
4. Slice fresh veggies to dip in the hummus.
5. Enjoy!
