An Interview With Krystal Nielson of San Diego

If you have goals, let’s reach them!”

These are likely some of the first words you'd hear when starting a class with masterful fitness trainer, Krystal Nielson.

Krystal is a dedicated trainer with Orange Theory who has a bounteous amount of enthusiasm that fuels each and every one of her training sessions. She creates an extremely supportive environment where everyone with the goal to master their health and fitness is welcome. She implements creative strategies that make her training fun and also push you to break past any limits holding you back and methods that really get the heart pumping.

FIRST IMPRESSION

When I went to one of Krystal's classes, I walked into a beautifully welcoming environment and was immediately greeted by an enthusiastic crew, ready to set me up to win. It was a quick and simple check-in process and my first time experiencing Orange Theory!

MY EXPERIENCE

In Krystal's class, I felt seen, cared for, encouraged and thoroughly worn out at the end of the session (in the very best way!). I was personally guided through exercises, high-fived throughout the class and cheered on the whole time!

Among many things, one thing that specifically stuck out to me from Krystal's workouts was her “little bit o’ booty” strategy. Just get that extra incline, or bump up your speed by 0.1 MPH, or see if you can get in an extra 1 squat in the time frame - just get that little bit o’ booty. ;)

I left her class feeling like I had a new best friend, personal cheerleader and all around kick-booty workout buddy!

PERSONAL INTERVIEW WITH KRYSTAL

Let's get to know this amazingly talented trainer a little better!

1) Who’s your ideal client?

I roll best with open and positive-minded people that I can vibe well with, people who are able to collaborate beautifully to create incredible physical and emotional transformations.

2) What’s your favorite Organifi product?

I’m a big fan of Daily Turmeric* because of its powerful inflammation-reducing effects and its strong antioxidant properties.

3) How’d you figure out your unique training style?

I pulled all my favorite qualities from my experience teaching yoga, aqua aerobics, body pump, spin and Orange Theory Fitness and let it evolve into something that just felt right. My focus is to have so much fun, that you don’t feel like you are working out.

4) What’s your “catch phrase" that you say a lot during your class?

“Last one. Best one.” It refers to your final effort in your workout - to push yourself past comfort and cross your finish line with no regrets.

5) What would you say people in the industry best know you for?

I’m often told that I’m a hybrid of Jillian Michael and Tony Robbins. While I bring high and super fun energy to workouts, we focus dramatically on pushing past emotional blocks and negative mindsets that hold us back in our workouts, career and personal lives.

My goal for someone, whether the client and I work online, one-on-one or in a group setting, is to have them leave class feeling proud and empowered to tackle ANY obstacle they may face that day.

6) What is one thing people wouldn't guess about you?

I see a lot of happy and surprised faces when I share that I grew up in beautiful Montana.

7) Is there anything else you want us to know?

Know that it's never too late to be the person you were meant to be, or to live the life that you are meant to live. All you have to do is believe in yourself. And if you can't do that, then I'll believe in you until you can.

Krystal truly is an incredible trainer to work with that could empower you to change your life. Be sure to reach out to her if you feel she may be a good fit for you and your goals!
