I created this unique, nutrient dense banana smoothie for just those reasons! It is good to introduce a variety of produce to your morning smoothies so that you can benefit from their different vitamins, minerals and health-promoting properties.

This banana smoothie is jam packed with greens and fiber to help improve digestion and support your immune system. And of course I added a little fruit, a banana, apple and mango, to ensure it is creamy and smooth and just sweet enough to bring you back for more.

What other benefits does this smoothie have?

  • Potassium to improve nutrient absorption and waste removal from cells
  • Antioxidants to eradicate free radicals
  • Vitamin C and A to boost the immune system
  • Beta-carotene to reduce risk of cancer
  • Vitamin K to improve bone density
  • Fiber to reduce cholesterol levels and slow down glucose absorption
  • Ethanol extract to protect lining of the digestive tract from ulcers
  • High water content to flush out toxins and hydrate

Banana Smoothie With A Boost!

Ingredients:

  • 1 banana
  • 1 green apple
  • ½ mango
  • 2 large carrots
  • 2 leaves romaine lettuce
  • 1 handful spinach
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1 cucumber
  • Water

Instructions:

  1. Chop up ingredients so they blend more easily.
  2. Add everything into a high power blender and blend until smooth.
  3. Serve immediately.
