To celebrate International Women’s Day 2017, we’ve put together a special recipe!
Below we’ve given you a Green Superfood Smoothie Bowl that will fuel you for a day full of changing the world. We know it’s not easy, we know you need your strength and stamina! So here is a breakfast worthy of the queen you are.
We’ve included some key ingredients. Organifi Green Juice contains turmeric and ashwagandha, both powerful natural plants that have been found to decrease stress and inflammation in the body. Ashwagandha may also help to balance your hormones and keep you feeling steady and on top of your game.
We’ve included avocado and nut butter for healthy fats that can give you energy and mental clarity. There are also greens like spinach and kale for fiber and revitalizing vitamins and minerals. And don’t forget fresh and frozen berries, packed with disease-fighting antioxidants so that nothing can slow you down.
Are you ready for the magic?
Green Superfood Smoothie Bowl
- 1 scoop or 1 packet Organifi Green Juice
- ¼ ripe avocado
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup frozen or fresh mixed berries
- 2 large handfuls spinach
- 1 small handful kale, large stems removed
- 1 ½ cups almond milk
- 2 tbsp nut butter
Toppings (pick your favorites)
- Roasted sunflower seeds
- Gluten-free granola
- Roasted nuts
- Shredded coconut
- Fresh berries
- Pumpkin seeds
- Raw honey
- Blend all smoothie ingredients until creamy and smooth. Taste and adjust to liking (add more banana or raw honey for sweetness). Add more liquid if needed.
- Divide into one or two bowls, add desired toppings and serve!
