How 15 Minutes Of Walking Can Change Everything

Walking is the world’s greatest form of exercise!

You may think it’s ordinary. If you are able-bodied, you may even take it for granted. You wouldn’t believe how important and powerful walking really is.

The Benefits Of Walking

A recent study has found that only 15 minutes a day of regular walking can reduce mortality rates by 22% in a group of participants over 65. Another study has discovered that walking 45 minutes a day increased the lung capacity of obese children.

Walking may be basic, but as a form of aerobic exercise, it can stimulate your heart and respiratory rates. Even if you are on a slow stroll, you still receive these benefits.

While being sedentary can lead to low energy and illness, even a short walk a day can prevent or help to manage chronic conditions. It can lower your risk of hypertension, stroke, high cholesterol and diabetes.

Walking can improve your mobility and reduce your risk of injury. It can also boost your mood and cognition. It can even help regulate your sleep.

Walking outdoors is particularly great for your mental health and lowering your stress levels. When you're outside, the sun can provide you with essential vitamin D as a bonus.

Your body is meant for movement!

15 minutes is not so much. It is much less than the recommended amount of exercise. It is an easy and low impact amount of time. You can easily fit 15 minutes of walking into your day. Get up 15 minutes early. Park the car further from your job to get some walking in. Take the stairs. Walk your dog. Walk with a friend. Walk during lunch. Get on the treadmill or get into mall walking during the winter.

Remember, you don’t have to stop at 15 minutes. 10,000 steps a day is a much better goal to aim for!

No matter what, just get walking.

Don’t forget to hydrate! Drink plenty of water and add a glass of Organifi to your routine. Organifi Green Juice can hydrate and revitalize your body, balance your hormones, support your mental clarity, relieve stress and boost your immune function.

Walking is not just a good exercise to obtain good health, but it’s also free. You have to be free to do it and free of using any tools.
