Learning To Love Saying No

Learning To Love Saying No

October 2018" />

I’m Sheree, the Creative Director for Fitlife and Organifi and today I wanna talk to you about learning to love the NO so you can say YES to life!

With every NO, we are saying YES to something that aligns with our spirit bringing us closer to the life we crave.

How many times in your life have you said YES when your heart has said NO?

Do you know that everytime you are saying YES to people and experiences that are outside of the authentic you, you are saying NO to the alignment of the Universe, Source, God, whomever or whatever you resonate with to bring IN what you actually desire?!

I am going to give you a couple questions to answer to create a new decision process that feels GOOD and TRUE for you…

Of course, there will be times, say at work, where you will be asked to do something that a NO may get you fired - that’s not what I’m talking about though. I see you, rebel. And I sooo get you!

I am talking about the favors from friends, family, strangers… the things we know we don’t want to do that we agree to anyway. Why do we do this to ourselves?

So often we say YES out of fear. Whether it’s that we won’t be liked, we will no longer fit in, we won’t be included anymore, or the infamous FOMO - fear of missing out.

The opposite of fear, though, is love.

In order to come from love we’ve gotta get honest with ourselves in order to make choices that truly align with WHO we are and WHAT we crave. And it can be fun… but you gotta let the fear  take a backseat for this to work.

Think about it this way…

You’re either a GIVER or a TAKER. Most people seem to think that by saying YES they are giving… I’ve got news for you though.

Saying YES to things that don’t ALIGN with who you are is actually taking - not giving.

Let me explain.

We’ve got all these incredible gifts. You were provided your very own human blueprint for a reason. When we align with what feels most authentic at our deepest soul level, we are responding positively to flow - the essence of who we BE. When we do this, we are rewarded with more joy, love, happiness, fulfillment, opportunities to expand further in the areas we enjoy and thrive in. Bottom line: life begins to feel better.

When we fight against these gifts, we are robbing the world of our light. We are TAKING from the Universe the very thing we were put here to do!

Saying NO is in fact saying YES - to more of what lights your soul on fire so that you can shine your beautifully brilliant light and lead the way for others to do the same.

So, the next time you’re asked to do something that doesn’t instantly LIGHT YOU UP, I want you to ask yourself these 3 questions:

Do I actually WANT to do this?

How would saying NO feel in my body?

Would saying YES bring me closer or further away from my soul’s calling?

And one more thing… there is no need to explain yourself when you decline an invitation or favor. You don’t owe anyone anything. Continue to BE the light that you are in this world and SHINE as bright as you possibly can.

Accept that not everyone will understand and that is okay. It’s not for them. You are worthy of living your best life. And it starts with you owning your gifts and honoring your journey to rise.
