You can have your fries (and mind your health TOO) when you make your very own oven baked fries.
Here is how YOU can make Spiced & Spiralized Sweet Potato Fries.

1. French fries originate in BELGIUM!- In 1680 in the Meuse Valley of Belgium, potatoes were fried as a substitute for fish when the river was frozen.
3. French fries are not called that in FRANCE!
- They are known as frites, pommes frites, or patates frites.
4. Each American eats approximately 16 pounds of French Fries per year.
5. The world’s longest French Fry is 34 inches long, discovered at Taffy’s Hot Dog Stand in Buffalo, NY in July 2010.
Now, about those FRIESSSSS...
Spiced & Spiralized Sweet Potato Curly Fries
Ingredients:
- 3 large sweet potatoes
- 2 tsp pure olive oil
- 2 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- Sea salt and fresh ground black pepper
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 450 degrees and place parchment paper on a large baking sheet.2. Give the sweet potatoes a good scrub before using a spiralizer to cut them into noodles (use the thickest noodle setting).
3. In a small bowl, mix together the paprika, cayenne, garlic, turmeric, salt and pepper.
4. Toss the sweet potato fries in the olive oil and then sprinkle the spice mixture over the potatoes.
- Toss to coat.
- Make sure to remove the fries and toss them every 10 minutes so that they bake evenly
All you need is a yummy sauce to dip these delightful fries into!

Creamy & Cool Avocado Lime Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1 avocado, peeled and diced
- 1 clove fresh garlic, peeled
- ¼ cup white onion, diced
- 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 2 tbsp freshly chopped cilantro
- 1 tbsp filtered water
- Sea salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. In a high speed blender, add the avocado, onion, garlic, lime, cilantro and water.- Slowly add more water if needed to achieve consistency.
- Add salt and pepper to taste and blend again.
2. Scoop the dip into a small bowl to serve.
