10 Ways To Give Back on National Random Acts of Kindness Day

Co-authored by Vizer

It’s the start of Random Acts of Kindness Week—meaning you can have seven heart-warming days of giving back to your friends, family, and community!

National Random Acts of Kindness Day has grown in popularity each year. It is celebrated by individuals, groups, and organizations, nationwide, to encourage acts of kindness. It is a favorite day for many, as people everywhere are enjoying doing these acts of kindness.

To kick off the week, we’ve teamed up with Vizer and compiled ten of our team’s favorite ways to reach out some way, each and every day!

  1. Support a local business
  2. Buy a coffee for a person behind you inline
  3. Donate money towards your favorite cause
  4. Send a voice memo or text to tell someone you appreciate them
  5. Volunteer in your local community
  6. Cook a warm meal for your neighbor or someone that needs it
  7. Overtip (if you can!)
  8. Donate old clothes and unused items
  9. Buy your coworker lunch or a coffee
  10. Offer to fill up someone's car with gas

Due to Vizer and Organifi both being San Diego based, we want to spotlight a few of our favorite local organizations and companies in town.

Through Vizer, every time you donate a meal, you earn one point. Those points can be redeemed at local businesses for free items like avocado toast, coffee, flowers, sushi, etc. Here are a few of Vizer’s favorite local reward partners:

Through Organifi’s partnership with Vitamin Angels, every purchase of Organifi Red Juice helps provide a pregnant woman or young child in need with life-changing vitamins. Organifi and Vitamin Angels are committed to bringing the benefits of vitamins to underserved communities, so children around the world can thrive!
