This Is HOW You Can Save Time Making Smoothies

I know you love smoothies. Who doesn’t?!

Preparation can be a mess though. Picking out your recipe, prepping your ingredients, blending, cleaning… it takes time.

If you plan ahead, you can have a smoothie within seconds without coming up with a recipe and prep work. No prep means less cleaning too: no messy knives, cutting boards, peelers and bowls. You can freeze your ingredients ahead of time for up to 6 months and just pull the smoothie bag you desire out of your freezer to enjoy your healthy drink in no time.

This idea is genius. It has seriously saved me so much time and kept me more motivated to drink lots of healthy smoothies. You should try it out too.

Recipes (each recipe makes 2 smoothies)

Orange, Mango & Carrot

  • 2 large oranges, peeled and separated
  • 2 mandarins, peeled and separated
  • 1 mango, peeled and sliced
  • 1 carrot, shredded
  • 1 scoop of Organifi Gold powder
  • ½ cup nut milk

 

Strawberry, Banana & Cauliflower

  • 2 cups of strawberries
  • 1.5 bananas
  • 1 cup cauliflower
  • 1 scoop Organifi Red Juice powder
  • ½ cup of nut milk

 

Kiwi, Pineapple & Spinach

  • 4 kiwis, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup of pineapple
  • 2 cups of spinach
  • 1 scoop Organifi Green Juice powder
  • ½ cup of nut milk

 

Berries & Broccoli

  • 1 cup of strawberries
  • 1 cup of blackberries
  • 1 cup of raspberries
  • 1 cup of blueberries
  • 1 cup broccoli
  • 1 scoop of Organifi Green Juice powder
  • 1 scoop of Organifi Red Juice powder
  • ½ cup of nut milk

 

Directions:

  1. Excluding the nut milk and Organifi superfood powders, combine all your ingredients (fruits, greens and veggies) in a resealable bag or container and freeze. If you have a large freezer, you can really plan ahead as they keep in the freezer for up to 6 months.
  2. When you are ready for your smoothie, remove your bag or container from the freezer. Add your ingredients into your blender, including your superfood mixes and milk. Blend till smooth. You can add more milk if you prefer. It also works with coconut water or water, which gives it a slightly lighter texture.
  3. For more fun, you can add more seeds, nuts, coconut flakes, or nut butter.
  4. Enjoy.
